Genesis in Full Color!
Dear Friends,
If you’ve been following me for a while, you probably know the struggles I had with the iBIBLE Genesis episodes. There are 42 episodes in all, and we didn’t have enough money to color 22 of them. So I agreed to release them on Easter Sunday 2024 in black and white.
It pained me to do this. I felt like I had failed. Don’t get me wrong—God has used those episodes in incredible ways. They’ve been translated into eight languages (with nine more currently in production) and have been viewed tens of millions of times.
But you can imagine how I felt. I always want to give my best. I always want to produce top-quality content, including our animations. Agreeing to release half of Genesis in black and white was deeply discouraging and even humbling. I didn’t have a choice; we simply didn't have the funds.
For the past two years, our team has been searching for new technology that would allow us to color the episodes electronically. We tried again and again, unsuccessfully. Several TV and satellite networks even offered to air all of the episodes—but only if they were fully colored.

We have now compiled and customized the right software to electronically color all the episodes, and it will only cost $2,200 per episode! Take a look above at the before-and-after sample scene we just tested.
I couldn’t be more excited to finally have ALL of our iBIBLE Genesis episodes in full, beautiful color.
I’ve set a goal to raise $48,400 to color all 22 episodes. I’ll begin production tomorrow morning, and the team estimates it will take three months to complete them all. The timing, voices, and soundtrack will remain the same, so updating each episode will be relatively straightforward.
