Friends,
Two hundred and fifty years ago, the United States was founded upon biblical principles—the belief that our rights come from God, that freedom carries moral responsibility, and that this nation's destiny is bound up with something greater than itself.
On Sunday, I have the privilege of participating in Rededicate 250, a national gathering in Washington, DC, to celebrate and recommit ourselves to the foundations upon which this country was built. |
I hope you'll join me on May 17 as we gather as one nation under God, giving thanks for his providence throughout our history and, asking for his guidance for centuries to come.
