| Dear Friend,
On March 25, nine months before Christmas, the Church celebrates the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord, when the angel Gabriel appeared to the Virgin Mary and announced that she would conceive Jesus by the Holy Spirit. In that hidden and sacred moment, the Word became flesh. The incarnation began in the womb of the Blessed Virgin Mary through her humble and courageous yes: "Be it done unto me according to your word." Although today is not a holy day of obligation, many parishes expand their Mass schedules to welcome the faithful who wish to honor this profound mystery. If you are able, we warmly encourage you to attend Mass today and celebrate the beginning of our salvation. Today especially, we invite you to imitate Mary's generous yes. Word on Fire depends on the support of faithful friends like you to continue proclaiming the beauty and truth of the incarnation to the world. Would you consider making a gift today to help us spread the message of God's love and mercy?
| | MAKE A GIFT | | On this great Marian feast, perhaps pray the Joyful Mysteries and ask our Lady to help you echo her fiat in your own life. May Christ continue to be made manifest to the world through your faithful witness and through your generosity. If you are inclined, we invite you to make a gift to Word on Fire today. God bless you, The Word on Fire Team
