The Liturgy of the Hours, also known as the Divine Office, is the daily prayer of the Church, offered around the clock by clergy, religious, and laypeople throughout the world.
It is an ancient, structured way of praying Scripture throughout the day, focusing especially on the Psalms.
After the Vatican's approval of a revised English translation—which includes more accurate biblical texts and prayers, as well as new saints and feasts added over the last fifty years—Word on Fire was chosen to print the brand-new, four-volume, leather-bound Liturgy of the Hours, Second Edition.
We've chosen the best materials to give these books the attention they deserve and our vendors and printers are currently running ink and binding tests to ensure maximum durability and readability.
