You Are the “Hands of God” in Iran!
Dear Friends,
Iranian Christians are praying for us!
Last Sunday I announced we would be printing more copies of The Real Story of Jesus illustrated books for Iran. This week leaders of the underground church told our ministry partner this:
“I just wanted to share, on behalf of our team and our church members, a big Thank You to everyone who helped provide these books [The Real Story of Jesus] and made it possible for them to be translated into Farsi and placed into our hands.
“Please tell them that even if our church members may not know them personally, we pray in every gathering for all the supporters and behind-the-scenes servants who are like God’s hands to us.”
While Iran has suffered one of the most tragic times in its history, with thousands killed in the protests, the Iranian Christians say they are praying for us!
They are praying for us because we are serving with them. We are providing the tools for their ministry. Like I always say, the workers are the “boots on the ground” fighting a spiritual battle, and they are willing to take the risks. They simply need the tools.

My goal is to print 25,000 illustrated copies of The Real Story of Jesus in Farsi for distribution to the underground church leaders. Like they have done in the years since we first sent them these books, they will use them for two purposes:
For the children “These books have been a huge blessing to our Joy Club. Our teachers have been using them to help children understand the story of salvation and why it matters.”
To train Christians in evangelism “The[Real Story]of Jesus books were a huge help for our discipleship season—especially for our evangelism workshop. For some, these books became their very first step in learning how to share the Gospel clearly and in the shortest possible time.”
The leaders finished by telling us this:
“This year, because of the current situation inside the country, our focus is even more on evangelism workshops for young people and new believers. Having these books again would be a great help for understanding and sharing the message. Would it be possible to have them again this year?”
It always brings me such joy to work with local Christians around the world. To me it is the most effective partnership. And now they are humbly asking us for more copies of The Real Story of Jesus.

Despite the oppressive regime, Iranian Christians want to share God’s love with their neighbors.
We have already raised enough funds to print 11,000 copies. That’s a great start!
