Paramount has previously announced that it would be raising prices on all subscription plans on Jan. 15, and that fateful day is now just a few hours away. If you're looking to prolong the price increase, you can still lock down a full year of Paramount+ at the existing price for only $60, or Paramount+ Premium for $120 — but not for long!
Starting tomorrow, Jan. 15, Paramount+ will charge $90 per year for its Essential plan, or $140 for its Premium plan. That means customers can still save $30 off the Essential tier, or $20 off Premium if they sign up for an annual subscription today. Current Paramount+ customers can cancel their existing subscriptions and sign up again at the prevailing rate before tomorrow to lock in a lower price for as long as possible.
The Paramount+ Essential plan includes a wide range of programming, including next-day streams of primetime shows from CBS, Paramount+ originals, and blockbuster movies from the Paramount movie studio, as well as live sports like NFL and UEFA Champions League games. All of this content will stream with limited ads during playback on the Essential plan.
