The New iBIBLE Animation!
Dear Friends,
Nearly 10 years ago, God gave me a dream: To produce a visual presentation of the entire Biblical Narrative. That dream has been fraught with some of the most stressful and difficult situations in my life.
Only about 5% of today’s languages have a developed reading ecosystem. If we want to reach the world, in their native languages, it will not be through print. We will have to use audio and visual Bibles. And God had given me the vision to produce the first animation of the entire Bible, using an authorized translation of the Biblical Narrative.
We started with traditional, hand-drawn 2D animation. By God’s grace we finished and published all of iBIBLE Genesis on Easter 2024. However, hand-drawn animation is very expensive, and we didn’t even have the funds to color the last 22 episodes, so I released them in black and white.
Today, our Genesis episodes are published in eight languages, with four more funded and in production, and five or six more planned for 2026, along with a whole suite of resources. They have been seen by millions and millions of people (young and old), and we constantly get requests from churches and missionaries around the world for more translations.

For the past two years we have been struggling to develop a way to produce the episodes faster and better. It has been a very difficult journey.
The problem is not creating animations; any studio can do that. The challenge is that we must create hundreds and hundreds of iBIBLE episodes quickly and affordably. This is usually considered impossible with quality animation. However, as a great Bible teacher once told me, “When you reach the impossible, you are at the beginning of God.”
My team members worked around the clock on a new solution. One of them is a master level programmer. And just this week they produced a sample iBIBLE episode. It’s not final, but it is beautiful and affordable!

Today we are producing with a combination of all we learned with the previous computer-based program to create the scenes, incorporating live-action acting, and utilizing some custom AI-programming to bring it all together.
I know many see AI as evil, and to be clear, we are not letting AI create our scenes. We are using some AI programs to help bring together technologies that previously could not work in unison.
Below you will find a sample episode of Jesus and Nicodemus’ conversation. This is not quite finished. However, this is the quality we are striving toward, and we are getting faster as we develop our own software and fine-tune the entire process. Faster and better is finally achievable!
I am also including a sample of how we film our live actors to create a more natural animation. This is one of our key elements, our secret sauce, as we love involving live actors to capture all the emotion in animating God’s Word. Click the images below to watch the sample videos!

Today I am also introducing a new strategy to help raise support for iBIBLE. We will be introducing iBIBLE characters that you can sponsor. Today we are releasing the 12 disciples. Yes, including even Judas!
You can sponsor one or more today. Your contributions will help us continue to produce iBIBLE in this new format. And we will send you a digital character card with a code to go online and read more as soon as they’re ready. You can even sponsor a character in memory or honor of a loved one, or as a family.
You can learn more by clicking the link below. And you can rejoice with me as we produce the Life of Christ iBIBLE episodes!
Please take a moment to watch the video clips and be one of the first to sponsor an iBIBLE character. It’s time for a visual Bible!
