| | MAKE A GIFT | | In Spring 2024, the imprint launched The New Ressourcement, a peer-reviewed theological journal dedicated to renewing and reimagining the twentieth-century project of ressourcement in the new circumstances of the twenty-first century. In under two years, The New Ressourcement has become the most widely subscribed Catholic academic theology journal in circulation—a remarkable indicator of the hunger for rigorous, tradition-rooted scholarship for the present age.
The journal now anchors an expanding ecosystem of intellectual life, including The New Ressourcement annual conference, which is approaching its fourth year. This conference has quickly become a powerhouse gathering of Catholic scholarship, cultivating interdisciplinary friendships, mentoring networks, and a vibrant intellectual community among many of the finest theologians, philosophers, historians, and biblical scholars working today.
Word on Fire Academic has also been entrusted with one of the most significant theological publishing projects of our time: the English edition of the collected works of Joseph Ratzinger. Selected from a competitive field of prestigious academic presses, Word on Fire will begin releasing two volumes per year starting in 2026.
